Going on 15 years of using CAD, 3D programs and Adobe Suite. Shane is currently licensed in 3 States and has worked internationally with world renowned design firms. He is currently the Director of STUDIOPLAATS in Colorado.

Shane attended UVA for an undergraduate degree in Biology and received his Masters in Landscape Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design. He also attended several classes for the UCLA-Extension program and fulfills all Continuing Education requirements for licensure.

In addition to tutoring AutoCAD, Rhino and several other design software programs since 2013, Shane has been a critic at Pratt, Clemson, CSU, VT and RISD. He also taught a Wintersession course at RISD and an Intro the Landscape Architecture Studio at CU-Boulder.

Always up for an adventure, Shane has lived and worked in many places since leaving UVA. This includes Los Angeles, Providence, Greater Boston, New York City, Rotterdam, Virginia, Colorado, London and Bristol, UK. He has a small messy garden in Bristol, where he spends about 1/2 of the year. Otherwise you can find him Climbing, running, talking long walks in the Foothills or talking movies over a beer.
